The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) has indefinitely delayed plans to pilot a single behavioral health prepaid inpatient health plan (PIHP) to manage specialty behavioral health services for Medicaid beneficiaries enrolled in fee-for-service (FFS) who reside in the integration pilot areas. The integration pilot is a separate initiative by the state to integrate physical and behavioral health for individuals enrolled in Medicaid managed care.
