Infant Homelessness Linked To Poor Health Outcomes For Children & Mothers
Infants who experience homelessness during their first 12 months of life have 1.71 greater odds of poor health and development compared to those in housed families. Similarly, mothers with a history of homelessness have a greater risk of fair or poor health, and depressive symptoms.
