Idaho DHW Introduces A New Online Youth Mental Health Screening Tool
On July 1, 2019, the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare (IDHW) launched a new online screening tool to assess youth mental health. The tool, called the Idaho Children’s Mental Health Screener (CMS), is available at no cost to the user. It enables parents and clinical professionals in non-mental health settings to complete a mental health screening for youth. The screening tool is focused on Idaho resources. It links Idaho families to further assessment and treatment services. It was specifically designed for clinical professionals in non-mental health settings.
