Feds Launch Advisory Committee To Recommend Strategies For Improving Employment Rate For Adults With Cognitive Or Physical Disabilities
On January 22, 2015, a federal Advisory Committee on Increasing Competitive Integrated Employment For Individuals with Disabilities (ACICIEID) held its first meeting to develop policy recommendations for improving employment rates among adults with cognitive, developmental, or physical disabilities. The committee’s purpose is to prepare findings, conclusions, and recommendations for the Secretary of the Department of Labor on ways to increase competitive integrated employment opportunities.
