Armor Correctional Health Services Barred From New York Jails For 3 Years
Armor Correctional Health Services agreed to a settlement on October 5 with the New York Attorney General that bars the company from providing jail health services in the state for three years. The agreement resolves a lawsuit filed by the Attorney General in July 2016, which alleged that Armor either failed to perform or egregiously underperformed on many of its obligations for its contract to provide comprehensive medical services at the Nassau County Correctional Center.
