Ohio Launching Five Pilot Drug Courts That Will Provide Medication-Assisted Treatment For Opioid Or Alcohol Dependence

The Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) is launching a pilot drug court program with a minimum of five proposed sites that will provide medication-assisted addiction treatment for opioid or alcohol dependence for up to 500 individuals at a time. The proposed pilot sites are in Crawford, Franklin, Hardin, Mercer, and Scioto counties.
