University Of Nebraska Medical Center Breaks Ground On High-Tech Training Center For Health Care Professionals

On April 3, 2017, the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) broke ground on the Global Center for Advanced Interprofessional Learning (GCAIL), a transformational training center for health care professionals. The $118.9 million, 191,884 gross-square-foot facility is expected to be substantially completed by September, 2018 when UNMC will host the National Modeling & Simulation Coalition Annual Meeting.

The technologically advanced facility will house UNMC’s iEXCEL℠ (Interprofessional Experiential Center for Enduring Learning) program.
