Supportive Nonprofit Planning $48M Project In The South Bronx
The Bridge, a mental health and housing nonprofit organization, is building a 115-unit affordable and supportive housing building in the South Bronx. The seven-story project is expected to cost $48 million.
Featured at the new location, will also be 69 new supportive housing units for homeless disabled veterans, homeless disabled seniors, and chronically homeless people with mental illnesses. It is anticipated that construction on the project will begin by the end of 2017. This project goes along with several other housing projects the Bridge is currently involved with in the area, including the development of a 149-unit . . .
