SIU Plans Major Expansion Of Telehealth Services Downstate

The Southern Illinois University School of Medicine (SIU), the primary provider of telehealth services in downstate Illinois, is planning a massive expansion of its services over the next two years. With about $300,000 in startup costs and more than 100 SIU professionals trained to carry out the growth, the provider uses secure networks and high-quality video and audio to connect residents of central and southern Illinois with specialists in Springfield.
