Hartford HealthCare Acquiring St. Vincent’s Medical Center

Hartford Healthcare (Hartford) is acquiring St. Vincent’s Medical Center, a purchase that was initially announced earlier this year, but which is now considered definitive. Ascension—which owns St. Vincent’s—anticipates that the acquisition will allow St. Vincent’s to provide safer and higher quality health care to members of the Bridgeport and Fairfield County community.
