Partnership Between California Organizations Formed To Develop Standard Quality Measures For Commercial ACOs
A group of California’s leaders in health care purchasers, plans, and providers recently came together to endorse an initiative to standardize accountable care organization (ACO) performance measurement and benchmarking. The partnership includes the Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA) and Pacific Business Group on Health (PBGH), or IHA-PBGH partnership.
The IHA-PBGH are working to develop a purchaser, health plan, and provider-set standard of quality and cost performance measure for commercial ACOs.
