AccentCare Lands ACO Relationship With Latest Acquisition

AccentCare. Inc. (AccentCare) recently announced it has acquired Steward Home Care and Hospice (Steward). Financial terms of the purchase have not been disclosed at this time.

The acquisition, which became effective at the end of 2018, expands AccentCare’s footprint into Massachusetts and New Hampshire—its 15th and 16th states, respectively. In addition to introducing AccentCare into two new states, the transaction also results in the organization landing a key role in one of the country’s largest accountable care organizations (ACOs) via Steward’s association with Steward Health Care and Next Generation ACO.
