Since joining OPEN MINDS in 2006, Ms. Griffin has been the lead investigative journalist and production editor for OPEN MINDS, responsible for interviewing primary sources, writing, and fact checking each article in the weekly news issue.

Since 2007, she has trained and supervised a series of production assistant interns. Ms. Griffin was a member of the Society for Professional Journalists from 2010 through 2014, and has been a member of the Association of Health Care Journalists since 2014.

Prior to joining OPEN MINDS, Ms. Griffin helped a school-affiliated non-profit organization gain 501(c) 3 status in 2005. She served as treasurer for the organization from 2005 through 2010.
