Stacey Cotton brings over 10 years of business development experience to the OPEN MINDS team. Her areas of expertise include sales, marketing, billing and receivable management, technology selection, management, training, and integrated care.
Ms. Cotton is currently the Director of Sales, Marketing, and Client Relationship Management at Askesis Development Group. In this role, she directs and manages sales, marketing, and client relationship teams. She also formulates and oversees business development initiatives to drive revenue and company growth.
Previously, Ms. Cotton was self-employed and served as a Business Development Consultant. In this role, Ms. Cotton performed physician billing, receivable management and collection services. She managed the development and execution of sales, marketing, and client service programs. She also designed and implemented strategic business plans and operational studies.
In addition, Ms. Cotton served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Neo Gen Screening. In this role, she implemented and managed sales, marketing, and client service strategies resulting in increased revenues averaging 25% annually. She initiated successful consumer sales program proving exposure to a new market segment and profitable revenue stream. She also managed and trained sales, marketing and client service staffs comprised of 22 employees.
Before joining Neo Gen Screening, Ms. Cotton was the Business Development Director for Med Claims. In this role, she formulated marketing, brand planning, and business-development strategies to drive revenue for a start-up company. She hired and managed sales, marketing, and advertising teams. She also negotiated and managed vendor contracts.
Ms. Cotton earned her Associates of Occupational Studies in Culinary Arts with Honors from The Culinary Institute of America. She also earned a degree in Business and Economics at Chatham College.
