Robert Sonntag, MS, is a proven executive with over 30 years of executive management experience with demonstrated accomplishments in building and managing all levels of organizations including hospitals, clinics, and other medical practices focusing on development and sustainability of operational service areas.
Mr. Sonntag is an experienced medical development and operations specialist. Having been very successful in many healthcare related projects, including opening a new hospital, multiple ambulatory surgical centers, medical centers and physician offices.
Mr. Sonntag’s demonstrated his leadership abilities serving in health care positions ranging from administration to surgical intervention. He worked as a clinical hospital administrator in a large healthcare system in addition to working in the surgery department. Mr. Sonntag was instrumental as the Administrator of Clinical Services which included leadership in Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory, Cardio-Pulmonary, and Safety Departments. In addition, he certified and licensed Ambulatory Surgical Centers multiple times and helped in the expansion of many physician practices and urgent care settings. Mr. Sonntag passed on his valuable knowledge and expertise having served as an adjunct faculty member at National Louis University in healthcare administration areas and business management.
While specializing in operations and patient centered management initiatives Mr. Sonntag trained all medical and administrative personnel. He focused on time management studies, working outcomes, and facility training to produce tune-ups for locations to complete turn-key services.
Mr. Sonntag holds a Master’s degree in Management which he received from National-Louis University. He completed the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Florida and received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a focus in Pre-Medicine from Thomas More College.
