Lisa Brody brings over 25 years of experience in the health and human services industry to the OPEN MINDS team. Her areas of expertise include clinical service delivery systems, data analysis, financial management, strategic planning, and program development. She currently serves as Chief Operations Officer with Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. in Aurora, Colorado.

Previously, Ms. Brody served as the Executive Director for La Frontera, Inc. in Tucson, Arizona. In this role, she was responsible for the efficient operation of the agency providing residential and foster care programs, including oversight of multi-million dollar budget resulting in agency becoming fiscally solvent. She provided administrative and clinical supervision to program directors. She consulted with professionals and the community about issues related to children and families. She also worked closely with the board of directors to establish an organizational vision.

Before joining La Frontera, Inc, Ms. Brody was the Program Supervisor for Arizona’s Children Association. In this role, she supervised therapeutic foster care programs, including Intensive Care Programs, and supervised an in-home reunification program. She was responsible for the oversight of licensing foster homes, and the training program for foster parents in Pima County.

Before her role as a Program Supervisor, Ms. Brody served as the Children and Family Services Coordinator for Horizon Human Services. In this role, she supervised a full array of outpatient, in-home, and school-based behavioral health services.

Ms. Brody earned her Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Shippensburg University and her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Dickinson College. In addition, Ms. Brody is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Colorado.
