Erin Elliot Brings over 10 years of operational management and business development experience to the OPEN MINDS team. Ms. Elliot currently serves as a Senior Associate, where she leads projects dealing with talent recruitment and retention, operations and strategic planning, performance improvement, and service line development.
Prior to joining OPEN MINDS, Ms. Elliot returned to MDR Healthcare immediately prior to their merger with Ascendo Resources, one of the 500 fastest-growing companies with a 1,090% growth rate over a 3-year period, to serve as Managing Director. In addition to overseeing the healthcare operation, Ms. Elliot was responsible for developing, launching and managing Ascendo’s 15th satellite office. She provided project management leadership in the analysis, development and implementation of staffing and operational strategies for all potential and new retained clients. Ms. Elliot managed the daily operations, client relations, budgeting, profit and loss reports, business development, sales development, negotiations of contracts, hiring, and growth of healthcare clients across the country.
Previously, Ms. Elliot served as the Program Director for Healthtrust Workforce Solutions, a subsidiary of HCA. Here, Ms. Elliot was responsible for the day to day operation of the vendor neutral master service provider (MSP) program, as well as consultant work that optimized all efforts to service clients in a high quality, cost effective manner for multiple acute care facilities and outpatient clinics. Ms. Elliot acted as the Director of VMS Operations with responsibility for all project reports pertaining to 180 plus facilities and all levels including division, facility, department and leadership.
Before HCA, Ms. Elliot served as the Director of Operations for MDR Healthcare. In this role, in addition to the recruitment team, Ms. Elliot managed the marketing strategy which included lead generation, marketing collateral, blog posts, and automated email marketing campaigns. Prior to this position, Ms. Elliot served as the Director of Recruitment, where she specialized in faith-based healthcare organizations.
Ms. Elliot attended Wilson College in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania with a focus in Women’s Studies and Equine Studies. Ms. Elliot holds a Certificate in Medical Staff Development (CMSR) and is a Fellow of Medical Staff Development (FMSD). In 2017 Ms. Elliot attended the Professional Leadership Transitions fellowship from the Harvard Leadership Institute.
