Biography

Candace Coffin, MSW, has been a consultant and trainer in organizational and staff development since 1986. Her background in counseling, spiritual direction, administration, and training has afforded her the opportunity to work with a large array of organizations, including hospitals, nursing homes, community service boards, and other human services agencies. She currently serves as Director of Specialty Services for Mount Rogers Community Service Board in Virginia, overseeing training, reimbursement, data resources, and creative healing.rnrnFrom 1982-1986, Ms. Coffin developed and taught the communications and counseling licensing program for administrators and teachers at the College of St. Rose, Albany, NY. As a mediator, she served on the advisory council for county-wide mediation services and was a founding member of mediation for New York State. Ms. Coffin has served on the board of directors for the Council on Child Abuse & Neglect, the Alcoholism Center, Common Ground Mediation Services, and the Josephine Porter Institute.rnrnHer mission is to motivate and inspire groups, individuals, and organizations to passionately explore the next steps in their development.
