OPEN MINDS Releases New Corporate Branding & Website; Announces Plans For 2018 ‘Digital Makeover’
Gettysburg, Pa. (April 15, 2018) – OPEN MINDS announced its plans for a ‘digital makeover’ in 2018 via an email announcement to its 150,000+ members early Tuesday morning. The announcement, penned by Executive Vice President of Marketing, Timothy Snyder, coincided with the release of OPEN MINDS updated corporate branding, and the launch of its new, publicly-available, corporate website.
OPEN MINDS digital transformation, aimed at improving user experience and accessibility across all platforms, will be launched in phases – allowing for a gradual effect and smooth transition for members.
“With over one million hits a month, 150,000 active users, and 300,000 individual pages, relaunching the OPEN MINDS website is no small task,” said Executive Vice President, Tim Snyder. “First and foremost, we have to ensure our members will not experience any issues with accessing our information. That is why we decided to roll-out everything out in phases–with the first phase focused exclusively on our public website. Over the next few months, bigger changes and updates to our entire digital platform will be unveiled. Stay tuned.”
The updated corporate branding found on the new OPEN MINDS website will also be utilized in reports, presentations, publications, and resources published by OPEN MINDS in 2018.

We modernized our typeface, color palette, and information structure to ensure the quality of the user experience matches the quality of the content and services we provide.”
The digitial platform overhaul, including the launch of the new public website, was led by OPEN MINDS Senior Web Developer, Matthew Morrison.
“The web development team was excited with the challenge of developing the redesigned website. By restructuring how our members navigate through a much clearer format and reducing a lot of the clutter surrounding what really matters… the content,” said Matthew Morrison, Senior Web Developer. “With all of the changes lately with operating systems pushing for newer/updated web browsers we were able to reduce our resource footprint, providing faster page loads. As we look forward to our upcoming development plans, we can’t wait to start pushing out additional changes & features over the coming months.
