Keynote Speakers From Kaiser Permanente, Shatterproof, Cigna & Anthem Announced For The 2019 OPEN MINDS Management Best Practices Institute
GETTYSBURG, Pa. (March 31, 2019) — OPEN MINDS has announced keynote speakers for The 2019 OPEN MINDS Management Best Practices Institute, which will return to the Hilton Long Beach in Long Beach, California from August 12-15, 2019. This year’s institute will focus on the clinical and management best practices executive teams need to move their organization from the concept of value-based reimbursement, to success in the new financial normal.
The first day of the institute will kick off with a keynote session, Mind, Body, Community: Kaiser Permanente’s Unique Approach, presented from Bechara Choucair, M.D., Senior Vice President & Chief Community Health Officer, Kaiser Permanente on Tuesday, August 13, 2019.
The second day of the institute will begin with keynote session, Implementing Provider Rating Scales For Substance Use Disorders: Payer Pilot Results & Impact On Benefit Design, a panel discussion led by Samantha Arsenault, MA, Director, National Treatment Quality Initiatives, Shatterproof with panelists Doug Nemecek, M.D., MBA, Chief Medical Officer – Behavioral Health, Cigna; and Eric Bailly, LPC, LADC, Business Solutions Director, Anthem, Inc. Their session will run from 9:00am – 10:00am on Wednesday, August 14, 2019.
The institute will feature didactic educational sessions, panel discussions with industry thought leaders and case model learning sessions featuring innovative organizations and programs. Throughout the week, executives will have the opportunity to attend formal and informal networking events with colleagues from throughout the county, and to meet with 15+ cutting-edge vendors to discuss products and services supporting innovative initiatives.
