GETTYSBURG, Pa. (October 14, 2018) — OPEN MINDS Chief Executive Officer, Monica E. Oss, delivered two executive briefings, “Meeting The Innovation Challenge In Long-Term Services & Supports,” and “Has The Time Come To Embrace Emerging Value-Based Opportunities?” at The Leading Age Wisconsin Annual Fall Conference, on October 4th, 2018 in Green Bay. The conference featured presentations, workshops and 36 educational breakout sessions geared towards current topics, trends and concerns in the fields of long-term care, assisted living and senior housing. Nearly 600 industry leaders including board members, executive directors, department heads and administrators attended the event.
In her presentations, Monica E. Oss focused on briefing executives on both the shift to value-based reimbursement, in the long-term care market, its implications for operations and financial sustainability, and the opportunities for innovation as the market changes.
“It was an honor to be part of the faculty for this year’s Leading Age Wisconsin Annual Fall Conference,” said Ms. Oss. “My conversations with the LTSS executives at the conference were focused on opportunities in the changing market. We discussed the leadership challenges in moving LTSS organizations from traditional models to tech-enabled, metrics-driven, value-based models that are increasingly in demand from both health plans and consumers.”
