Featured Faculty Announced For The 2018 OPEN MINDS Strategy & Innovation Institute; Charles Gross, Ph.D., Vice President, Behavioral Health, Anthem, Inc. & Michael Griffin, Chief Executive Officer, Daughters Of Charity To Keynote

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (January 7, 2018) — OPEN MINDS recently announced the initial keynote and guest speaker faculty list for the highly anticipated 2018 OPEN MINDS Strategy & Innovation Institute, taking place on June 4-7, 2018 at the Sheraton Hotel (French Quarter) in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Michael Griffin, Chief Executive Officer, Daughters of Charity will help kick-off the institute with an opening keynote presentation, “Sustainability In A Competitive Market: The Daughters of Charity Services Story”. Now part of Ascension Health, the nation’s largest Catholic and non-profit health care system, The Daughters of Charity have provided nationally-renowned health care in New Orleans for 180 years.

Charles Gross, Ph.D., Vice President, Behavioral Health, Anthem, Inc., will present the keynote of the second day of the institute’s main program with a morning presentation titled, “Going Beyond Innovation: Developing Partnerships with Health Plans”. Dr. Gross has over 20 years of clinical and operational managed care experience in the public and private sectors. In his current role at Anthem, Dr. Gross is responsible for the integrated behavioral health services for more than 8.3 million combined Medicaid and Medicare covered lives– as well as over 19.6 million Commercially covered lives. Dr. Gross’ clinical and management experience also includes previous roles with Kaiser Permanente, ValueOptions, United Health and Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield.

The initial list of guest speakers announced for the OPEN MINDS executive institute included executives from influential provider and payer executives across the country, including:
