Insure Tennessee, Medicaid Expansion Proposal

On December 15, 2014, Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam released a proposal for Insure Tennessee, an alternative Medicaid expansion plan. If the proposal is adopted by the legislature, more than 200,000 uninsured, low-income working age adults who do not otherwise qualify for Medicaid will be able to obtain health insurance via two coverage options.
