Industry Resource

May 19, 2016 — Free Executive Web Briefing Sponsored By Netsmart

Presented By: Justin Horton, Electronic Health Record Director, Cornerstones of Care & Fran Loshin-Turso, Senior Vice President, Child & Family Services, Netsmart

New care coordination payment and service delivery models continue to emerge, such as Certified Community Behavioral Health Centers (CCBHCs), which require care coordination with child welfare and therapeutic foster care agencies. Many of these emerging models, as well as regulatory changes, have common elements at their foundation, namely care coordination, home and community-based settings, and evidence-based treatment to improve outcomes and quality at a lower cost. The notice of proposed rulemaking to replace Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System (SACWIS) regulations with Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS) regulations mandates electronic data exchange with contract providers and other systems.
