The calls for help have always come in many ways: by e-mail, through a county crisis/suicide prevention hotline, from physician or self-referrals by phone, or straight into the front door of COMCARE, the county mental health authority and safety-net provider serving the city of Wichita and Sedgwick County, Kansas.
