Florida Department Of Health Presentation: The Future Of Children’s Medical Services Program
This presentation was given on December 9, 2017, by the Florida Department of Health (DOH). In this presentation, the DOH described its vision of changes to the Children’s Medical Services Managed Care plan (CMS plan) to adopt a full-risk capitated model, and a new care coordination model. The CMS plan provides Medicaid health care services to children ages zero to 20 with serious chronic physical or developmental conditions.
