Montana Governor’’s Budget: Highlights For Fiscal Years 2016 & 2017

On November 17, 2014, Montana Governor Steve Bullock released his budget proposal for the 2017 biennium; the budget includes a provision to pursue Medicaid expansion via the Healthy Montana Plan. The plan would expand Medicaid coverage to 70,000 uninsured low-income working age adults, including 9,500 veterans and their families.
