The report was released on October 30, 2020, by the National Center for Health Statistics of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The researchers analyzed responses to the 2019 National Health Interview Survey contributed by 31,997 civilian noninstitutionalized adults who said they had chronic pain during the past three months.
