On October 13, 2017, the Attorney Generals of 19 states sued the President to force the administration to continue making cost sharing reduction (CSR) payments to health insurers offering plans through the Health Insurance Marketplaces under provisions established by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 (PPACA).
