Los Angeles City Council Motion To Develop A Spending Plan To Reduce Homelessness

On September 22, 2015, the members of the Los Angeles City Council adopted a motion directing the city's Chief Administrative Officer to develop a multi-year spending plan to reduce homelessness in the City of Los Angeles. The motion said the plan commit up to $100 million, and should be developed under the direction of the Homelessness and Poverty Committee in consultation with the Mayor's Office, the County of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Homeless Authority and appropriate city departments by January 1, 2016.
