Trauma And The Environment Of Care In Juvenile Institutions
In August 2013, the National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN), a program of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administrations Center for Mental Health Services, released six online briefs that discuss the key elements of a trauma-informed juvenile justice system. The briefs are written by experts invited to the NCTSN Trauma-Informed Juvenile Justice Roundtable and address topics essential to creating trauma-informed Juvenile Justice Systems.
