On July 19, 2013, the Klamath County board of commissioners asked the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) to immediately release the county from managing the countys community mental health program (CMHP) that provides adult mental health services, which include crisis services, supportive housing, and case management. The county has been unable to come to an agreement of terms about participating in a Medicaid Coordinated Care Organization, and is unwilling to accept further financial risks.
