This document is a concept paper released on May 31, 2014 by the Tennessee Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (DIDD). The state intends to redesign its Medicaid long-term services and supports (LTSS) for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to favor independent living and employment as the first and preferred service option for the 1915(c) Home- and Community-Based Services (HCBS) waiver.
