Pathway To Full Parity
The report was released by the U.S. Department of Labor in May 2018. The report presents the efforts of the DOL Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) to enforce the provisions of the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA). The MHPAEA requires that most health plans provide access to and coverage of mental health and addiction treatment benefits at parity with access and coverage of medical and surgical benefits.
