The notice was released on April 17, 2018, by the New Jersey Medicaid program. The New Jersey Department of Human Services (DHS) notified the NJ FamilyCare (NJFC) managed care organizations (MCOs) that beginning July 1, 2018, the NJFC plans would be responsible for covering an expanded set of behavioral health benefits to certain members. The goal is to align behavioral health benefit coverage for NJFC beneficiaries enrolled in managed long-term services and supports (MLTSS), Fully Integrated Dual Eligible special needs plans (FIDE-SNPs), and beneficiaries receiving services through the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) waivers . . .
