New Horizons v. Indiana Department Of Homeland Security
On March 14, 2017, the United States District Court in the Southern District of Indiana, New Albany Division released this complaint from New Horizons (via the American Civil Liberties Union) against the Indiana Department of Homeland Security. The complaint alleges that the Department of Homeland Security discriminated against the people in a proposed group home in Lawrenceburg, when it required fire sprinklers and other expensive equipment, not required of other residential properties. The home would be built in a residential neighborhood where such "Class 2 industrial building guidelines" do not apply . . .
