CMS Approval Of New Jersey Medicaid State Plan Amendment To Implement Behavioral Health Homes In Bergen County For Children With Serious Emotional Disturbance, Developmental Disability, & Co-Occurring Mental Illness
On March 12, 2015, the federal Medicaid program approved two Medicaid behavioral health home (BHH) state plan amendments (SPAs) for Bergen County, New Jersey. The approval is retroactive to July 2014. One SPA is for BHHs for adults with serious mental illness; the other is for BHHs for youth with serious emotional disturbance, developmental disability, and/or substance use disorder.
