Founded in 1853, Sheppard Pratt Health System is a non-profit provider organization, which offers a full continuum of care for mental health, substance use, special education, developmental disability, and social services. They are accredited by The Joint Commission; the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF); Healthy Families America (HFA); Maryland EXCELS; The Alliance for Workplace Excellence (AWE); and Trauma-Informed Care (via the National Council for Behavioral Health).
