Youth Villages Launches New Children’s Program In Oklahoma Focused On Increased Permanency Rates

On October 14, 2014, Youth Villages announced it was launching operations in Oklahoma. The program, which will be funded through a partnership with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (OK DHS) and the George Kaiser Family Foundation, will provide intensive services to youth placed in higher levels of care in an effort to reunify them with their families or other connections, and to divert youth from out-of-home placements by helping families safely maintain youth in homes and communities. The goal of the program is to increase permanency rates for youth who have either come to the attention of . . .
