Wyoming Implementing DD Waiver Featuring Individual Budget System
On April 1, 2014, the Wyoming Department Of Health, Behavioral Health Division (BHD) began implementing a new Medicaid waiver for individuals with developmental disabilities that features an individualized budgeting system. The waiver, officially called the Comprehensive Waiver, will provide a range of support services to adults and children. At full implementation the Comprehensive Waiver will replace Wyoming’s Adult Developmental Disability waiver (which expires on June 30, 2014) and the Children with Developmental Disability waiver (which expires June 30, 2015).
