Worldwide, Women Are Disproportionately Affected By Dementia Than Men
Worldwide, women are more likely to be affected by dementia than men. Women represent the majority of people living with the disease, the majority of those with the highest risk of developing dementia, and women account for an overwhelming majority of caregivers and health professionals.
