Wisconsin To Create New Division Of Medicaid Services By The End Of 2016

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) is reorganizing to create a Division of Medicaid Services (DMS) by the end of 2016. The new DMS will contain all of the current programs and functions currently offered under the Division of Health Care Access and Accountability, including administration and benefits management for BadgerCare Plus; FoodShare; Medicaid for the Elderly, Blind or Disabled; Estate Recovery; Wisconsin Funeral and Cemetery Aids Program; Disability Determination; and operation of Milwaukee Enrollment Services (MilES).
