Virtual Physical Rehabilitation Is As Effective As In-Person Services
Virtual physical rehabilitation, facilitated by at-home video sessions and device-based apps, is as effective as in-person physical rehabilitation. At the end of a 12-week trial, there was also no differences between in-person and virtual physical therapy in terms of six-week knee extension, flexion, and gait speed; and in 12-week pain scores and hospital readmissions.
