On June 12, 2018, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) released quality star ratings for its 133 veterans nursing homes, called community living centers (CLCs). Thirty-four facilities earned a 5-star overall ranking, 39 earned a 4-star ranking, 19 earned a 3-star ranking, 29 earned a 2-star ranking, and 11 earned a 1-star ranking.
