Third Sector Selects Seven Awardees Considering Child-Focused Pay-For-Success Initiatives
On March 11, 2015, Third Sector Capital Partners announced it had selected seven projects proposed by six state or local governments and four non-profit organizations to receive technical assistance to advance Pay for Success (PFS) projects for childhood and youth development. Over the next 12 months the seven jurisdictions will complete feasibility studies to determine the factors needed to launch a PFS initiative for their communities.
The proposed projects focus on teen pregnancy prevention, childhood home visiting, early childhood education, preventing entry into foster care, preventing juvenile delinquency, improving academic performance for at-risk youth, and improving youth employment . . .
