The Prevalence Of Antipsychotic Polypharmacy Decreased 4.6% Between 2008 & 2014
The prevalence of antipsychotic polypharmacy decreased 4.6% between 2008 and 2014: from 29.5% of 2,715 consumers in 2008, to 24.9% of 2,866 consumers in 2014. This trend was a consistent decrease, except for a very slight increase during 2009 to 2010. Antipsychotic polypharmacy is defined as simultaneous treatment with two or more antipsychotic medications.
