Texas To Launch Pilot Of New IDD Needs Assessment Tool In 2015

The Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) is planning to pilot a new needs assessment instrument in 2015 for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The pilot had been scheduled to begin in January 2015, but DADS is still assessing responses from vendors to a Request for Information (RFI) issued in August 2014 and waiting for approval to issue a formal procurement.
