In September 2017, the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) halted its plans for a pilot program to test managed long-term services and supports (LTSS) for people with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) due to concerns about cost-effectiveness, timeliness, and use of resources.
