Adolescent Drug Overdose Deaths Rose 19% From 2014 To 2015 In The United States
From 2014 to 2015, drug overdose deaths among adolescents aged 15 to 19 in the United States rose 19%, from 3.1 deaths per 100,000 teens in 2014 to 3.7 deaths per 100,000 in 2015. More than 80% of the drug overdose deaths among adolescents were unintentional.
