State Developmental Disability Administrators Report Program Scale & Use Of Technology Key To Future Success Of Self-Directed Services
State administrators of self-directed services for people with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) reported that program scale and the use of technology to streamline program administration will be key to successful self-directed services. Self-direction is an approach to human service delivery within long-term services and supports that aims to provide greater control for individuals with disabilities and their closest supporters.
